You can always change the economy so you don't make money so fast. g_income_factor Max (the dev) uses 0.2 for a realistic hard income. But be warned: It does not scale bank loans. Thanks, an interesting idea, but it wouldn't eliminate my original problem, that I feel that having drivers just makes my work pointless, since they make way more No. #1. Not to any degree that you'll be able to detect there isn't, whatever the developer notes might say. #3. If they for any reason can't find a job with destination their home city, they come back empty, costing me money and time. But why? Why For the exact same cargo, two drivers with different reputations won't earn the same thing. Your company earns some money only after the drivers are paid and the trucks repaired, not before. Like SKS said, it's because your driver drove back empty handed thus negative income. #4. Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. For example, my first truck was the cheapest Renault. I bought a Volvo (second cheapest I think) and gave the Renault to my driver. Then I bought a Scania (again second cheapest) and gave the Volvo to another driver. I upgraded the Renault since it was 380HP and the Volvo and Scania are ~550HP. I go with "bigger is better" :P It just takes a bit of time and patience. No need to rush, you will eventually end up with more money that you can ever spend. No need to give your drivers good trucks it makes not odds to them. well, one of my drivers is on a mercedes, and the other is on scania they both 1.7, the mercedes earns 2800, the scania 700 So it's easy enough to pay off the loans which are only about €2500 a day, but I reckon it's better to save loans until you've set up your business and want to expand it. light487 10 years ago #3. It's only a game afterall.. so no big deal either way.
I have a question, please. I've hired four drivers who make a little money in my game. If I stop playing for an hour and go back to the game, do the drivers stop working ? Do they continue to make me money and I can make up the money by resuming the game or all is lost ? Thanks for the answers.
