If Gta 6 had no story mode I'm pretty sure it would sell HORRIBLY, it would honestly be the worst one tbh. What I'm saying is that there's no excuse for the Hydra not being in single player, in fact the Hydra was actually going to be originally obtainable in single player but it was cut which makes it even more infuriating.
The Hydra is based visually and technically on the Harrier Jump Jet which is a very cool thing. The Hydra from GTA V/Online is a mix between the Harrier and the F-35 Lightning though. You're right, it has elements from both. I guess I just see more Harrier in the design because I'm more aware of that one.
