The 3.0 and 2.5 have different diff ratios. (2.5 got the 3.64; 3.0 got the 3.46). So the 2.5 feels like its very close to the 3.0 performance wise stock for stock. Throw the 2.5 diff ratio in the 3.0, and your 3.0 is screaming. If I were to get another M54 Z4, it'd be a 3.0 no doubt about it.
