After discovering the games i feel as though the movie is like a high quality cosplayer movie. The movie has resemblance to the games when Alice is not on screen. Editing is bad. But its nice to watch parts of the games on screen. As a horror/zombie movie removed from the games its passable and not really all that insulting.
To me, the control scheme in RE6 was really a step up, even if the classic Capcom akwardness still remains partially. I have only played Resident Evil 2 (remake) and Resident Evil 6. I don’t really understand the hate for 6. It’s very different and very goofy, but for the most part it was quite fun to play Co-Op with a friend and shoot different monsters with the satisfying gun play or laugh at over the top moments. Resi 2 is no doubt a better game.

He's super scary in this, can sprint really fast and drop out of the sky to surprise you. But the problem is, there are barely any non scripted sections in the game where he roams the map like Mr X in RE2 remake. So it's almost a waste. Other than that, the game is really linear, has little bonus content, is short and has lots of missing sections.
I'll still argue that RE6 is in no means a bad core game though; it just suffers from really a really bad campaign hampered with atrocious level design and sub-par writing. Of course, having a better inventory system along with item upgrades like RE4 and 5 would have gone a long way too.

The remake will likely be very different and the original is an outstanding game that is very much worth playing (after you’ve played the remake if you want to experience that first). RE5 is a much better game than RE6 in my opinion and also very much worth playing. Re 6 is worth 20 bucks, yes.
