Little/no carbon build up in intake -- on other hand, some argue ULSD + EGR = no intake carbon, but this has not been my first hand experience. My opinion is that it is a waste of money to purchase a "race pipe." The VCDS adaptation turns it down but not off. Best solution is Malone tuning's dynamic EGR IMHO. Mar 6, 2011. #8.
